Event Details

"BUILDING HOPE" - The City of Santa Ana, the Bowers Museum and the Artist Community of Orange County come together for the largest annual LATIN AMERICAN ART AUCTION at THE BOWERS MUSEUM SANTA ANA benefiting the students and children attending The Orange County Children's Therapeutic Arts Center. 

A percentage of the proceeds will help finance therapeutic art treatments for children with disorders such as autism, ADHD and Down Syndrome as well as OCCTAC's Art in Education programs for all.

Auctioneer Alex Slato will present works by a large variety of famous artists. Among them works by Rufino Tamayo, David Alfaro Sisqueiros, Carlos Merida, Fernando Andriacci, Gustavo Montoya and many more.

The Orange County Children's Therapeutic Arts Center (OCCTAC) is a 501(c)3 community-based ARTS organization dedicated to education and empowerment of at-risk youth and children with special needs of limited resources.  OCCTAC is the first and only ARTS organization in Orange County to offer unique programs that combine the arts, academics, and creative therapies to help youth realize their highest potential.  Founded in 2000, OCCTAC has quickly grown to be recognized as one of Santa Ana’s most successful new nonprofits!
